BeWILDerwood Norfolk has not announced its 2026 Christmas event. In 2025 it ran 11 dates from 29 November, £17.50 each, with a light trail and mini panto.
Is BeWILDerwood doing Christmas in 2026? Not announced yet. On 30 September 2026 BeWILDerwood Norfolk’s own What’s On page lists only Halloween, and the page that carried last year’s Christmas event now sends you to the home page. Nothing has been cancelled; it simply is not on sale. We will update this page when dates and tickets appear.
Last year’s event, BeWILDerwood Presents Christmas: A Starry Night of Sparkly Lights and Panto Magic, is set out below from the park’s own page, so you know what to expect and what it cost.
What ran in 2025
From BeWILDerwood’s own event page, as it stood in November 2025:
- Dates: 29 and 30 November, 6 and 7 December, 13 and 14 December, then every day from 19 to 23 December 2025. That is 11 dates in all.
- Timeslots: 3pm, 4pm, 5pm and 6pm, chosen when you book
- Price: £17.50 a person
- Length: about an hour and a half
- What is in it: a Sparkly Light Trail, a mini pantomime of about 20 minutes, the BeWILDerwood characters, Father Christmas to spot along the way, and a BeWILDerwood Christmas book for each child
- Where: it ran at both parks, Norfolk and Cheshire. The Norfolk one is on Horning Road, Hoveton, NR12 8JW.
The terms matter if you are planning around them. Event tickets were non-refundable, ordinary day tickets were not valid for the event, the park said it could not guarantee entry if you arrived outside your booked slot, and last entry was 30 minutes after the last advertised timeslot.
When the 2026 dates are likely
This is our reading of last year’s pattern, not an announcement. In 2025 the event opened on the last weekend of November, ran the first two December weekends, then went daily for the five days before Christmas Eve. The same shape in 2026 would mean 28 and 29 November, 5 and 6 December, 12 and 13 December, and 19 to 23 December. Treat those as dates to keep free, not dates to book.
The park’s Halloween event runs daily until Sunday 1 November, so a Christmas announcement is most likely once half term is over. Signing up to BeWILDerwood’s newsletter or following its Norfolk Instagram account is how the park says it announces new events.
Getting there and parking
BeWILDerwood says it has plenty of free parking, including disabled and coach spaces, but no touring or towed caravans. It is on the A1062 about 1.5 miles from the double mini roundabout at Hoveton. The park warns that some sat navs send people to the wrong place, so follow the brown signs from Wroxham and Hoveton.
Without a car, the nearest station is Hoveton and Wroxham, 15 minutes from Norwich on the Sheringham line, then 1.9 miles to the park, which BeWILDerwood puts at a 30 to 40 minute walk. Konect Bus route 5B from Castle Meadow in Norwich stops at the entrance. On a 5pm or 6pm slot in December you will be walking back in the dark, so a taxi from the station is the safer plan with small children.
Check Broadland roadworks and travel before you drive, and our parking in Broadland page if you are stopping in Wroxham or Hoveton first.
Other Christmas evenings around the Broads
Two lights events nearby already have confirmed 2026 dates and prices: the Fairhaven Christmas Lights Walk at South Walsham from 21 November, and the Bure Valley Railway’s Festive Express and Noel Night Train from Aylsham. For Father Christmas visits, see our Santa’s grotto page, and for stalls, the Broads Christmas markets.
